内容概述：

In this talk, I will introduce the background of MHD free boundary problems, and discuss main geometric and analytic ideas in obtaining a priori estimates. Then I will discuss the role played by the Taylor sign condition, from both ill-posedness and well-posedness points of view. This talk is based on joint work with Professor Chengchun Hao.

主讲人简介：罗涛教授于1995年获得中国科星光直播 博士学位。后赴美国密歇根大学，乔治城大学担任助理教授，副教授及教授。现为香港城市大学教授。罗涛教授的研究方向和星光直播 兴趣主要为非线性偏微分方程，流体力学的数学理论，双曲守恒律方程组等。其研究成果发表于重要国际星光直播 刊物如Comm. Pure & Applied Math., Archives for Rational Mech. & Anal., Comm. Math. Physics, Advances in Math.等。他在国内外赢得了许多星光直播 奖项，包括中国科星光直播 院长奖学金特别奖、密歇根大学Rackhan研究基金、意大利CNR研究基金、法国CNRS研究基金。
