报告题目：An introduction to the path signature theory

报告内容：The  signature  map  sends  a  BV  curve  in  R^n  to  a formal  series  in  its  tensor  algebra,  by  using  the  iterated  integral method.  I  will  first  briefly  survey  the  theory  of  signature  map developed  by  K.T.  Chen,  and  then  introduce  the  general  signature inversion problem. Finally, I will discuss recent joint work with Chong Liu on how to use rational approximation to explicitly recover an axial increasing curve from its signature.

报告人简历：汪湜，上海科技大学数学科学研究所，助理教授、研究员、博士生导师。研究兴趣包括：微分几何、几何拓扑、几何群论与动力系统。已在  J. Eur. Math. Soc.、Math. Ann.、  Geom. Topol. 、Adv. Math.等重要期刊发表多篇论文。主持国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目(海外)、国家重点研发计划项目（青年科学家）。
