报告题目: Salem numbers with minimal trace

报告内容：A Salem number is a real algebraic integer greater than 1 whose other conjugates all lie in the closed disc |z|<=1, with at least one on the unit circle. The smallest known Mahler measure of algebraic integer different from 0; 1 is Mahler measure of a Salem number. In this talk, we will discuss an algorithm to computer all bounded Salem number with degree fixed. This is a joint work with Qiong Chen.

报告人简历：吴强，西南大学教授，博士生导师，美国数学学会评论员，毕业于法国梅兹大学，在法国梅兹大学和LMAM实验室从事了多年的教学与研究工作和博士后研究。2004年回国，并定期以访问学者的身份被邀请到法国进行合作研究。主要从事计算数论研究，先后在“Mathematics of Computation”、“Journal of Number Theory”等国际星光直播 刊物上发表论文多篇，多次参加在法国、卢森堡、加拿大、英国等国举行的国际星光直播 会议。
